UniStorm is environment 21’s system which employs low head loss internal flow diffusers and flow distributors.  This design reduces turbulence, improves flow distribution, and allows on-line operation to eliminate pollutant bypass during high intensity rainfall events.  The UniStorm is available in manholes and vaults, and it carries the environment 21 reputation for helping meet EPA regulations of 80% TSS, but the cost savings obtained from using a single structure design.  In addition the UniStorm can be designed with a flow control device when it is being utilized at the outlet of detention, creating the perfect treatment train.

The “UniScreen”, available in vault or manhole, uses a multi-function insert which: traps solids greater than 250um, floatable debris and hydrocarbons, acts as a flow diffuser/distributor, helping to meet the EPA goals of gross pollution removal. Also the unique shape improves scouring of the inlet side screen surface thereby minimizing potential obstruction and maintenance. The entire floor area is available for sediment storage and is easily accessible for inspection and cleaning. Ideal UniScreen applications include pre or post treatment to a detention pond where there is a need for treatment, but not to the level of filtration products.

The “PuriStorm” is environment 21’s unit which incorporates locally available pre-cast vaults in conjunction with cartridges made up of replaceable media pack with a proprietary sleeve.  This unit can give you the confidence that you are meeting EPA and Stormwater requirements in addition to high phosphorus removal rates. In addition when properly sized the filter replacement interval is greatly increased there by decreasing maintenance cost. The EnviroTrap can easily be retrofitted to existing structures with sumps or installed on new projects. The EnviroTrap design enables it to effortlessly function as a standard underflow hood or it can be retrofitted with a filter panel or oil absorbent pack.
